Hi I'm Ciara, mum of one feisty little toddler and wife to the talented Davie of Broc Knives. I've been a ceramic artist for almost 20 years.
I hold a BA Hons in Fine Art Sculpture, but it was when I completed my CACHE level 3 certificate in working with children and young people with special needs, that I found a passion for working in this area and currently have 12 years experience working in community arts.
I have a small studio in rural County Down, in the beautiful Northern Irish countryside.
The beauty of hand made work is that it is so unique. I specialise in one off pieces and small batches. After working in a production pottery for 10 years, I got bored making everything exactly the same, so all my sets are always slightly different. No two pieces are exactly the same. My pots should be like sisters, not twins.
